Hey there!
So I just got a job teaching arts and crafts at the YMCA this summer,
and I was wondering if anyone had any cool arts and crafts ideas for kids ages 5-13?
I have tons of ideas already written down and have been looking online, but I'm hoping to get some input from people who have worked with kids before or just know some great, unique crafts
since a lot of the things online are the same, and I'm sure the kids have done them many times.

What are your thoughts on using sea water in a neti pot?

I live in Hawaii and i'm surrounded by natural saline!

I just neti potted!! I posted a while ago how I was stuffed up and my ear was plugged and some people suggested a neti pot and I decided I was desperate enough to try it. Okay I bought it several days ago and just now got brave enough to try it and it wasn't bad at all!! In case anyone reading is as big a wimp as me, I figured I would post to let you know its easy as pie. I did notice the water didn't flow as easily from my less congested nostril out the congested one, and I did get a tiny bit of salt water in my mouth. But it was just a bit and by re-adjusting I was able to stop it and get it flowing through again. I can't feel much difference now because I've been so I will be trying it again tomorrow and seeing how the congestion is, but I am very pleased that I gave in and tried it. I thought it would be horrible and awkward and make me feel like I was drowning, but it was really easy and felt pretty neat.

So thanks for the suggestions and encouragement. Now I just hope that it helps clear up my sinuses and that hopefully that helps allow the fluid build up behind my ear dry up. Oh well...one thing at a time. Thanks again :)

I was in Macys today (because I have a gift card) and did not even try on 3 swimsuits before bursting into tears (it's OK, the boyfriend came with me and was able to use his boyfriendly powers to make everything better). My body has changed since last summer (frankly, it's changed every summer for the past 3 years, but that's another matter - let's just say my closet has sizes 3-12 in pants) and apparently I no longer fit into size L bottoms. Or at least, when I managed to pull them on, they barely covered my pubes. And my boobs were hanging out of an M top. I refuse to accept that I am an XL!! I think there's some conspiracy where every bathing suit is made for small short people. I am average sized but very tall, and I need taller/proportionate bathing suites. Do they exist? I am looking for:

-full coverage bottoms that actually go up to my hip bone/lower belly button area. This is a good 2 inches from the top of my pubes and whatnot.
-A top that is like a bra: specifically, the kind of bra that clasps in the front with a racer back, because my boobs look awesome in them. Underwire + pulling them up/together for the win.

I am 5'9.5'' and a size 10 in pants, about a 31" waist and 36" bust with a slim ribcage/waist area. Surely there are bathing suits that will fit my curves. Help :( I'm a camp counselor this summer and I need a suit!

Today is Sunday, and Sunday is Bacon Day at my house. Saturday is pie (meat pie - sort of like pot-pies for you Americans) day, but Saturday is gone and now it is Bacon Day. Rejoice!

Bacon Day is a day of pjs (actually, who am I kidding, pjs are suitable attire for the whole weekend), listening to the radio, and keeping toasty warm with slippers and a a belly full of bacon.
